Design a Hat:

  1. In the early 1900s, hats were a necessary part of any traveling outfit. Everyone in the illustration of Grand Central Terminal is wearing a hat.
  2. Study the types of hats worn by the people in the illustration. Design and illustrate your own traveling hat.
  3. Write a description of your hat and why you selected particular features.
