About This Scene:

New Orleans, Louisiana

"Known as Madame John’s Legacy, after a story by New Orleans author George Washington Cable, this raised cottage is thought to be the oldest building of its kind in the Mississippi Valley. It was built around 1726, damaged by fire, and rebuilt in 1788. Today, New Orleans is slowly rebuilding after the devastation caused by Hurricane Katrina in August of 2005." — from Adèle & Simon in America
